March Madness, for reals!
March was a great month, for two very good reasons. And they shall be mentioned thusly:
These two movies alone made the month of March just bearable enough to spring us into April. (You see what I did there with that little pun? I’m so clever!)
If you seriously live under a rock and have no access to the outside world, here’s the dealio on these two stellar flicks. 300 is about thick, half-naked (Spartan) men killing lots of stuff. There’s only *shock* 300 of them, and they’re fending off an army of thousands. Needless to say, lots of blood, killing, boobs, and killing. Any part of the movie that wasn’t, in fact killing, was usually filled with soft-core porn or reminiscing about killing. Rock. This movie is a definite DVD buy. You know what though? I shouldn’t have to tell you anything about this movie; you’d better already know everything about it. If you haven’t seen 300 yet, you deserve to be eviscerated like the dirty Persians.
TMNT, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I shouldn’t have had to break that one down…) was also another favorite of mine this March. Taking place after the first and second movie (i.e. Shredder’s been defeated, no more evil to battle) the boys take a hiatus from crime-stopping as Leonardo goes off to the jungles of South America to train. Blah, blah, blah, a year passes, stuff happens, Leo’s back, and ninja-tastic battles ensue. You really don’t need to know much about anything to realize that the Ninja Turtles are awesome and kick major shell. And they set up the bomb nicely for a sequel! Go see it, pussy!

Both movies has some sort of “Leo” in them, btw. One was LEOnidas and the other was obviously LEOnardo. So, March was the month of the Leo’s. I made no sense what so ever, but gimme a break, its 10:30am.

Actually, that’ s a pretty good association; I never even thought of that. I was still too busy being rocked by awesome.
At least we now know what it takes to make a killer movie!
