Paleolithic lifestyle - 9/9/09.
In an attempt to both log my results and improvements on a Paleolithic diet in conjunction with CrossFit, I’ve decided to use my blog as a way of not only keeping track and staying motivated, but to allow others to see the effects and benefits of this lifestyle.
So, here it goes:
Breffix
-3 egg omelet with spinach, avocado, and salsa (yum!)
Brunch
-Protein shake (Syntha 6)
Lunch
-Turkey breast and leg, carrots with hummus, one kiwi
Snacks (throughout the day)
-Grapes, 2 apples, banana, lean sliced turkey breast with diced vegetables, diced salmon with diced mixed vegetables
Like I said, I freaking LOVE this paleo lifestyle!
On to the WOD (workout of the day):
For time:
21-15-9
Handstand pushups
Front squat (115 lbs.)
Time was 9:42.
So far, only a week into this paleo thing, I feel utterly amazing. My endurance and fatigue resistance have gone up, I have more sustained energy throughout the day, and I feel more alert and productive. My attitude is positive, and I always feel happy. I can definitely keep this up!
